Should You Call Your Plumber or Electrician?
Should You Call Your Plumber or Electrician?
This is worth repeating. Think of your health as a bank account.
You can make deposits (good nutrition, exercise, proper rest, chiropractic care, yoga, meditation, stretching, walking, running, etc.) and you can make withdrawals (neglect, stressing out over thing you can't control, cheeseburgers, soda, diet sodas, greasy foods, flour, pastries, pasta, over doing it, not sleeping enough, etc.)
Like your bank account, if you make MORE withdrawals than deposits, you get some very expensive overdraft notices from the health bank.
This is What We All Need.
Everyone needs at least one health care professional on their team that is focused on Wellness.
Medicine focuses on treating disease, crisis care, and detecting disease early. That is their specialty and they are very good at it. Their training and focus is not on building Wellness. Our healthiest patients understand this critical point.
Our healthiest patients have a good medical doctor that they work with to monitor if a disease is developing and for crisis intervention. They work with us to help them make deposits into their health account and build Wellness.
Metaphorically speaking the healthiest people understand that when you need to update the electrical system in your house... you don't call a plumber!
